According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , in recent days, following the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, high-ranking leaders of countries, political parties, and international friends from 103 countries and territories, and 32 international organizations have sent nearly 500 letters, telegrams, and messages of condolence.
Letters and telegrams of condolences were sent to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam , President To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, Standing Member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong, other Party and State leaders, the Vietnamese people, and the family of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
One hundred international delegations visited and sent condolences in Vietnam, along with more than 3,500 delegations that paid their respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at Vietnamese representative offices around the world .
Letters, telegrams, and messages of condolence express deep feelings, boundless sorrow, and great respect for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, honoring his contributions to Vietnam's development and relations between Vietnam and its partners, and expressing a desire to further promote cooperation with Vietnam in all fields.

Respecting this solidarity and sharing, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, Standing Member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong, and other Party and State leaders have sent letters and telegrams to leaders of other countries, international organizations, political parties, and international friends.
The letter and telegram express gratitude for the special affection and condolences offered by the Party, State, people of Vietnam, and the family of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in the face of his immense loss.
Party and State leaders wish to continue working with countries and partners to fulfill the aspirations of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, further developing and deepening the friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and other countries and partners, meeting the interests of the people of each country and contributing to peace, cooperation, and prosperity in the region and the world.
Previously, the funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was held according to the protocol of a State funeral, taking place over two days, July 25th and 26th.
The memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at 1 PM on July 26th at the National Funeral Home, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi. The burial will take place at 3 PM on the same day at Mai Dich Cemetery, Hanoi.
According to Luong Cuong, Standing Member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee and Head of the Funeral Organizing Committee, nearly 6,000 delegations representing central and local agencies and organizations, units, the People's Armed Forces, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, domestic organizations and individuals, and 100 international delegations, along with nearly 200,000 compatriots and comrades, have come to pay their respects to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong (Hanoi), the Reunification Hall in Ho Chi Minh City, and in Dong Hoi commune (Dong Anh district, Hanoi).
In addition, nearly 500,000 citizens, officials, soldiers, and members of the armed forces accessed and sent condolences through the electronic condolence book.
Many leaders of other countries and international friends have come to pay their respects and sent condolences to the Party, the State, the people, and the family of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
