Vietnam AI Contest 2025 witnessed a generation of young Vietnamese entering the era of artificial intelligence not only with technical thinking, but also with the desire to improve life, education , culture and human values. If previous seasons were still focused on technical demonstrations, this year, the projects that passed the online qualifying round showed a clear shift: AI in the eyes of young people is not just technology - but a way to answer very common questions of today's society.

The highlight of this year’s season is the rise of projects that harmoniously combine technology and people, engineering and emotion, creative ambition and ethical awareness. Projects such as the AI-integrated study lamp that can listen to students and care about sitting posture and eye health - demonstrate an important trend: AI is gradually entering the most familiar objects, taking care of every small human behavior with sophistication and understanding. The way the product development team combines hardware - sensors - voice recognition to create a “school friend” shows a clear vision of the future: technology is only valuable when it makes life better.

At the same time, many teams chose broader social problems, such as health and nutrition. The smart nutrition application project - although exploiting a popular topic - attracted attention because of the way the team built a superior user experience and the ability to personalize daily meals using AI. What is noteworthy is not the use of APIs or complex algorithms, but the mindset of "putting technology in the hands of everyone". A small application, but opening up a big future: where each individual can manage their own health with data and artificial intelligence.

In the field of education, the spirit of innovation is even more evident. The AI tutor project - a platform that synthesizes all general knowledge - is not only technically daring but also requires a deep understanding of the national education program. When young people choose to solve this huge educational problem, what they aim for is not just a technological product, but a learning ecosystem where AI plays a supporting role, personalizes, tracks progress and inspires. The challenge of data and fine-tuning models according to textbooks does not discourage them - on the contrary, it marks a generation ready to tackle the hardest problems to create the biggest impact.

This spirit is also reflected in the group focusing on robotics - a field that requires a deep understanding of control algorithms and technical thinking. The robot programming chatbot that a team built has turned dry content into an accessible learning experience for high school students, teachers and even technology enthusiasts. When AI can explain code, simulate algorithms or how to write algorithms in just a few seconds, the line between "beginner" and "experienced" becomes blurred - paving the way for a generation of Vietnamese robots to confidently enter the international playing field.

But what makes Vietnam AI Contest 2025 truly special is the intersection of technology and emotion. In the Film Park category, many contestants chose to tell very human stories - memories, love, regret, the desire to overcome adversity, or pride in national history.

There is a team that recreates a virtual world that preserves beautiful memories of the past to remind that AI can evoke the past, but can never replace the authenticity of the present. There is a team that tells the journey of a football prodigy from poverty to legend - a story that not only depicts perseverance but also shows the ability of AI to create emotional and philosophical short films. There is a group that recreates the image of Vietnamese heroines, so that history no longer remains on the pages of books but comes back to life before the eyes of the young generation with new technology.

Overall, this year’s projects reflect an important shift: AI is no longer just a technical issue, but has become a creative space where young Vietnamese people explore the values they want to bring to society. From health, education, culture to inspirational stories, they are building multidimensional pieces of Vietnam’s AI future.

And it is this diversity - from a listening study lamp, a smart nutrition app, an AI tutoring platform, a robot programming chatbot, to emotional films recreating history - that affirms a consistent message: Every project, no matter how small or large, contributes to pushing Vietnamese AI one step forward.

Vietnam AI Contest 2025 is not just looking for the best products. It is looking for the spirit of creativity, the desire for innovation and ethical responsibility in the application of artificial intelligence.

And through the projects that have made it to the next round, it can be said that a new generation is emerging - a young generation that knows how to dream big, think differently, and most importantly: use AI to change the world in the most humane way!
