Vietnam Airlines offers 20% discount on air tickets for VnExpress Marathon runners

Vietnam Airlines offers a 20% discount on tickets purchased from March 29 to April 15 for all runners participating in the VnExpress Marathon 2024.

Vietnam Airlines ' promotion aims to facilitate thousands of participants in each VnExpress Marathon in the context of rising travel costs. Specifically, the program only applies to flights to and from the race locations, including: Hue, Quy Nhon, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ha Long, Hai Phong and Hanoi.

Tickets are on sale from March 29th to April 15th. The maximum flight time is 5 days before and after the race. For example, with the most recent race, VM Hue (taking place on April 21st), runners can buy tickets for departure from April 16th and return at the latest on April 26th.

The discount will be calculated based on the price at the time of sale, excluding surcharges and taxes of all kinds. When purchasing tickets at Vietnam Airlines ticket offices and agents, runners only need to present the confirmation letter of participation in the tournament from the Organizing Committee (email of successful Bib purchase) and identification documents to receive the discount.

In addition to the air travel discount, runners participating in VnExpress Marathon Hue on April 21 can also choose to travel by train. Hanoi Railway and Saigon Railway both offer a 15% discount on train fares for runners during the race. This discount applies to tickets to and from Hue station.

For families, runners traveling from Da Nang, the newly opened Hue - Da Nang tourist train is also an ideal choice. The train named "Connecting Central Heritage" departs from Hue station and Da Nang station every morning and afternoon. On the way, the train will stop at Lang Co station for 10 minutes for visitors to admire the beauty and check-in at Lang Co bay - one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

During the opening month, Vietnam Railways Corporation applied a preferential ticket price of 150,000 VND/ticket; monthly ticket price of 900,000 VND/ticket, and a discount of 10% - 50% for passengers who are policy beneficiaries. After arriving in Hue to attend the VnExpress Marathon, visitors can choose to travel by train to combine their trip to Da Nang.
