It is known that the BK-23 rig is an unmanned light rig, designed, manufactured and installed by the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Vietsovpetro located at Bach Ho field, on the continental shelf of Vietnam. Bach Ho field is about 145km from Vung Tau.
