VinFast is implementing a strong expansion strategy for its nationwide service center network to meet the growing customer demand after becoming Vietnam's best-selling car brand in September 2024 with over 9,300 electric vehicles delivered.
This figure marks a significant milestone in the development journey of the Vietnamese car manufacturer, while also posing a major challenge in ensuring quality after-sales service for users.
According to its ambitious plan, VinFast will open 150 new service centers between now and the end of 2024, focusing on localities with a large number of electric vehicles such as Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Ninh, Lang Son, and Khanh Hoa.
The company's goal is to provide service coverage in all 63 provinces and cities, becoming the automotive company with the largest network of service workshops in Vietnam.
This expansion not only helps VinFast enhance its ability to serve customers but also demonstrates the company's long-term commitment to the domestic market.
Alongside expanding its infrastructure, VinFast is also implementing comprehensive training programs for its staff.
In October 2024, the company organized a series of in-depth workshops combined with soft skills training for all staff members of distributors nationwide.
Specifically, VinFast will provide intensive training for 200 new technicians in a two-month program at its factory in Hai Phong , with all costs covered by the company. This demonstrates VinFast's serious investment in improving the quality of its human resources.
In the area of strategic cooperation, VinFast and GSM are actively collaborating with local partners to expand their service networks. GSM has established the Mekong Green SM joint venture with Mai Linh Group, aiming to build 99 service centers by 2025.
This collaboration not only expands service capabilities but also leverages the experience and reputation of long-standing partners in the industry.
In addition, GSM has also signed cooperation agreements with 60 VinFast-approved service workshops nationwide, creating a reliable service network for both individual customers and business partners.
By the end of 2024, the total number of VinFast and GSM service centers is expected to exceed 300, an impressive figure demonstrating the rapid growth of the Vietnamese automaker.
