The delegates cut the ribbon to officially open the program.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Ngo Chi Tue, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phuc province, stated: The Dong Son culture, dating back approximately 2,500 to 2,000 years ago, holds a particularly important position and role in the nation's historical process. This culture served as the material basis for the formation of the first state during the Hung Kings era, the Van Lang - Au Lac state, and was the foundation for the formation of ancient Vietnamese cultural identity as well as the later Dai Viet civilization.

Vice Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu and other delegates visited the thematic exhibition "Dong Son Culture and the Quintessence of Ancient Artifacts of Vinh Phuc".

Vinh Phuc province has more than 24 archaeological sites belonging to the Phung Nguyen, Dong Dau, and Go Mun cultures – also known as the Pre-Dong Son period – that have been discovered, notably the Nghia Lap and Lung Hoa sites (Vinh Tuong district), Go Hoi site (Song Lo district), and Dong Dau site (Yen Lac district)...; and 12 archaeological sites belonging to the Dong Son culture period, notably the Nguyet Duc site (Yen Lac district), Go Com and Xuan Loi sites (Lap Thach district), Dao Tru and Minh Quang sites (Tam Dao district)... with rare and valuable artifacts such as the Dao Tru bronze drum, the Minh Quang bronze drum, and the Nguyet Duc basin drum...

These relics, along with the numerous artifacts discovered and studied, provide vivid evidence of the origins of indigenous culture from the Phung Nguyen - Dong Dau - Go Mun to Dong Son cultures. They also affirm that during the process of conquering and developing the land from the northern mountainous regions down to the Northern Delta, the ancient Vietnamese people settled and established permanent residences in the Vinh Phuc region from 4,000 to 2,000 years ago.

This is the fundamental step, the prerequisite for the cultural heritage space of Vinh Phuc to crystallize, be nurtured, and shine within the heart of the national cultural heritage, with the diversity and richness of nearly 1500 historical and cultural relics and scenic spots, including 4 special national-level relics and relic clusters; 62 national-level relics, 465 provincial-level relics; 1 national treasure, thousands of ancient artifacts, relics, and objects that have been inventoried and scientifically documented, and are being preserved and promoted at the Provincial Museum, relic sites, traditional houses, and collectors throughout the province. Alongside this is the richness, diversity, and multifaceted nature of 571 intangible cultural heritages, including 3 recognized by UNESCO as representative intangible cultural heritages of humanity, and 6 listed in the national intangible cultural heritage catalog.

This is one of the cultural activities that vividly demonstrates the socialization of cultural work in general and the field of cultural heritage in particular. It is an opportunity for private collectors inside and outside Vinh Phuc province to exchange experiences, bring their collections to the public, and contribute to the protection and promotion of the value of national cultural heritage in sustainable development.
