After nearly two months of construction, the sturdy "Great Solidarity" house was inaugurated and handed over to Mr. Dao Duy Viet, from Van Thang village. Mr. Viet is from a poor and disabled household; his only asset was the house left to him by his parents, which was destroyed by Typhoon No. 3 (WIPHA). The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Tien Hung commune launched a campaign, calling on organizations and individuals to join hands in supporting the construction of a spacious house, helping Mr. Viet quickly have a new place to live and no longer have to live with relatives. The new house has an area of 54 square meters with a total cost of nearly 200 million VND. Of this, the Provincial Relief Fund contributed 80 million VND, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune contributed 2 million VND, philanthropists donated building materials and some used items such as doors, tables, chairs, and a stove, and the rest was contributed by relatives. The joint efforts of the Party Committee, the government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, and everyone have helped Mr. Viet have a new beginning in a warm home. Mrs. Bui Thi Nghien, 78 years old, a poor household in Van Loc village, along with many other households in the commune, received 100 million VND per household to replace her dilapidated house. For the past six months, she has moved from her old, leaky house to a new house of nearly 40 square meters . Thanks to the help of the Party Committee, the government, and everyone, Mrs. Nghien no longer has to worry whenever there is a storm. This is the most precious and meaningful gift she has received.

Implementing the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households," the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Tien Hung commune organized a campaign to raise funds to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; received and managed the donated funds, allocated and provided direct support to households, ensuring that the support reached the intended beneficiaries, and monitored the quality of construction and progress. In a short time, the commune mobilized manpower to complete the repair and construction of 47 houses for poor and near-poor households, including 42 new houses, totaling over 4.4 billion VND. In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune also received over 1.8 billion VND to support the repair and construction of 20 houses for people with meritorious services. These new houses are not only places to live but also "roofs" of love and solidarity. In the warmth of their new homes, joy and hope help poor families and those who have rendered meritorious service to the nation to "settle down," and gain more confidence to strive for a better life.

Mr. Do Quang Hiep, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Tien Hung commune, said: Activities for the poor and ensuring social security are always focused on and effectively implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and political and social organizations in the commune with the goal of leaving no one behind. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune organized gift giving for 100% of poor households during the Lunar New Year; together with political and social organizations, it supported poor households with capital, seeds, and fertilizers on deferred payment terms to expand production, business, and develop effective agricultural models; each month, it distributes 20-22 gift packages of rice and school supplies to poor students, orphans, poor households, and elderly people without support. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune reviewed, compiled a list, and received and distributed over 1.8 tons of rice to 185 poor households in the commune on the occasion of the establishment of the new Hung Yen province. These practical activities have contributed to reducing the multidimensional poverty rate of the locality to 1.54%.
To achieve the goal of providing timely support and assistance to 100% of disadvantaged households and those facing unexpected risks; and ensuring that 100% of poor households with housing difficulties who meet the criteria receive support from all levels for repairs or new construction... the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Tien Hung commune continues to organize fundraising for the "For the Poor" Fund, effectively implementing the "For the Poor" campaign month in conjunction with the successful implementation of the "For the Poor - Leaving No One Behind" emulation movement.
