Phuoc An and Nhon Trach communes complete preliminary examination for military service in 2026

(CTT-Dong Nai) - The Military Service Councils of Phuoc An and Nhon Trach communes have just completed the preliminary examination for military service in 2026, ensuring compliance with the plan, process and meeting the set requirements.

In Phuoc An commune, the Commune Military Service Council coordinated with the Health Station to organize a preliminary examination for 1,262 young men of military age. In 2026, the commune was assigned the target of recruiting 65 citizens to join the military service and 17 citizens to join the People's Public Security service.
For Nhon Trach commune, the preliminary selection work was seriously implemented with more than 1,650 young people participating in health check-ups. The commune's 2026 target includes 85 citizens performing military service and 9 citizens participating in People's Public Security service.
According to the Military Command of the communes, from the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2025, the Military Command proactively advised the People's Committee of the commune to issue a plan, establish a Military Service Council, and assign specific tasks to each member. Propaganda work was deployed early and extensively through People's Group meetings, branch and union meetings, helping young people and people understand their rights and obligations, while raising awareness and sense of responsibility in performing the duty of protecting the Fatherland. At the same time, the Military Command of the commune coordinated with the Commune Police to review and grasp the source of young people of military age, verify political background, ethics and educational level. Health stations of the communes were carefully prepared in terms of facilities, equipment and human resources to serve the preliminary health examination, ensuring objectivity, accuracy and compliance with procedures.
The above results are an important basis for communes to successfully complete the selection and call-up of citizens for military service in 2026, contributing to strengthening national defense and security potential and building increasingly strong local armed forces.
