Tan Tien Commune: Handing over 15 gratitude houses to poor and near-poor households

Implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, on July 11, Tan Tien Commune Police and the construction unit handed over 15 gratitude houses to poor and near-poor households in the area.

Each house is built according to the model house standard with an area of ​​36 m2 , including a living room, bedroom and kitchen with a total cost of 80 million VND.

During the handover process, representatives of Tan Tien Commune Police presented Uncle Ho's picture and the national flag; and installed gratitude house signs on each construction. Through that, the commune police also encouraged families to settle down, strive to build a new life, and effectively use State support resources to prioritize investment for ethnic minority people, poor households, and near-poor households.

It is known that in Tan Tien commune, there are 162 households whose houses have been built and repaired under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; mainly concentrated in 5 villages of the Xe Dang ethnic group (old Ea Yieng commune). Up to now, the whole commune has completed the repair of 71 houses, built 55 new houses and handed them over to families for stable use.
