Accordingly, it is necessary to have a direction and strategy for the coming time to exploit more proactively; clearly identify funding sources, clearly define political tasks, place orders, joint ventures, associations... to build strategies and visions. In addition, there is a plan to attract high school students according to orders; promote coordination in career counseling; sign cooperation agreements with mass organizations to advise parents. At the same time, determine purchasing needs according to the annual roadmap to invest more effectively, both ensuring the needs of teaching schools and ensuring the balance of the provincial budget.

Vinh Long College currently provides multi-level and multi-disciplinary training. The quality and quantity of training occupations are appropriate and meet the needs of the labor market. The facilities and training equipment basically meet the teaching and learning conditions of the school, but compared to the regulations, there is still a significant lack of the minimum training equipment list for each occupation.

Currently, enrollment has not met the set target, especially for college level, many majors have not been able to enroll. The number of students enrolling has decreased significantly compared to the number of applications (successful). The allocation of funding, ordering, and assigning tasks is carried out very slowly, sometimes funding is only provided after the end of the school year...

The school recommends and considers allocating funding for ordering and assigning tasks for new enrollment courses right from the beginning of the school year, no later than October every year, so that the school can promptly spend on teaching and learning; promptly carry out procedures to issue training norms for occupations to increase the number of occupations and occupations ordered for training, reduce occupations that are implemented according to the task assignment mechanism; pay more attention to investing in vocational training institutions such as allocating funding for construction and repair of facilities, investing in purchasing machinery and training equipment to meet the regulations on the list of minimum training equipment for each occupation and occupation according to regulations.
