Verifying the report of nearly 30 taels of gold missing from a car

On the afternoon of September 8, Mr. Le Thanh Long, Secretary of the Phu Loi Ward Party Committee, said that the police are coordinating to verify the report of Mr. HVD (37 years old, living in Phu Loi Ward) about a thief stealing nearly 30 taels of gold left in his car.

According to initial information, on the morning of September 7, Mr. HVD went to Phu Loi Ward Police to report the theft of jewelry including necklaces, bracelets... kept in a pickup truck with license plate 61A-821.xx.

Mr. D. said that on the night of September 6, he drove the car above to take his friend to his house on Binh Duong Avenue, Phu Loi Ward. After his friend went inside, Mr. D. parked the car on the sidewalk and slept, the front door on the passenger side was still open.

On the morning of September 7, a passerby saw the car door open and woke Mr. D. up. When this person checked the car, he discovered that a cell phone and a large amount of gold jewelry were missing.
