Coming to Thuong Xuan commune, visitors cannot miss the opportunity to explore Xuan Lien National Park, with an area of about 25,600 hectares with high mountains covered with clouds such as Pu Xeo, Pu Gio; primeval forests with rich flora and fauna. Coming here, visitors can also learn about many places associated with legends and stories told by the people in the region about the national hero - Binh Dinh King Le Loi and the Lam Son uprising such as: Hon Mai Muc, Hon Ngoi... Legend has it that this is where the insurgents built huts, set up camp to practice and forge weapons. The traces of the huts are gone, but on the river there is still a stone - where Le Loi and Nguyen Trai sharpened their pens. About 1km away, along the Dat River, there is a small stream called Hon Ngoi. Legend has it that this is where Le Loi passed by many times, sitting for countless hours to observe the terrain, ponder, and arrange military affairs to defeat the Ming army. In addition, when coming to this land, tourists can also visit and experience beautiful relics and waterfalls, such as: Historical and cultural relics of Lung Nhai Oath Festival; Architectural and artistic relics of Ho village communal house; Hon Yen waterfall...

Visitors to Thuong Xuan commune can also immerse themselves in the wild, airy space, listen to the murmuring sound of streams; enjoy folk songs, folk dances, dishes imbued with the culinary culture of the Thai ethnic group, such as: grilled fish, bamboo rice, steamed pork, grilled chicken, rock snails, purple sticky rice; especially visitors can also stay in traditional stilt houses, when night falls...

To promote its potential and strengths, Thuong Xuan commune has encouraged households with conditions to invest in renovating traditional stilt houses, creating green, clean and beautiful natural landscapes for tourism development. At the same time, it has stepped up propaganda and mobilized people to preserve and promote traditional cultural values; established folk culture and art clubs to serve tourists, create jobs and increase income for people. Focus on investing in infrastructure, training human resources, and attracting investment in tourism development.

Ms. Luu Thanh Thuy, one of the households doing tourism in Thanh Xuan village, said: "With the attention and encouragement of the local Party Committee and government, my family has invested in building facilities and a campus to provide tourism services. Currently, my family has 7 rooms and 1 stilt house to serve the accommodation needs of tourists. To better serve the needs of tourists, my family has participated in training courses on tourism and food hygiene and safety. Thanks to the development of community tourism, my family has additional income and also created jobs for 4 workers with an income of 5 million VND/person/month".

Currently, Thuong Xuan commune has 12 households providing tourism services, of which 4 households provide homestay tourism. From July 2025 to now, Thuong Xuan commune has welcomed nearly 20,000 visitors to visit and experience. Tourism development has created jobs for dozens of local workers, promoting the socio-economic development of Thuong Xuan commune.

Mr. Le Huu Giang, Vice Chairman of Thuong Xuan Commune People's Committee, said: In recent years, tourism development associated with preserving and promoting traditional cultural values has been of interest to Thuong Xuan Commune. Therefore, the number of tourists coming to the commune to visit and experience is increasing. In the coming time, Thuong Xuan Commune will continue to promote and mobilize households to develop tourism. Focus on investing in infrastructure, creating favorable conditions to attract investors to develop tourism. Direct villages to mobilize people to plant and raise specialty trees and animals associated with tourism development, increasing economic value for people. Thereby, contributing to building Thuong Xuan into a friendly, safe and attractive destination for tourists.
