Sleeper bus carrying 34 passengers caught fire on Phan Thiet highway

According to initial information, the sleeper bus with license plate 51B - 189.99, driven by driver Ho Xuan Vinh (53 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City), carrying 34 passengers was traveling on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway in the direction of Phan Thiet - Ho Chi Minh City.

When the car reached Km 05 of Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway, through Ham Cuong commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan , it caught fire fiercely.

The passenger bus caught fire on the highway

Realizing the car was on fire, the driver pulled into the emergency lane and shouted for the passengers to escape from the car. At the same time, he quickly opened the luggage compartment to let the passengers get their belongings out of the car. The fire engulfed the body of the car. Fortunately, all the passengers got out of the car safely.

Fire and rescue forces of Binh Thuan Police sent specialized vehicles to the scene to put out the fire, but the passenger bus was burned down.

Fortunately, all 34 passengers escaped after the passenger bus burned down on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway.

Traffic police are on duty at the scene to regulate and ensure traffic safety in the area. Binh Thuan Provincial Police are investigating the cause of the bus fire on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway.

Also on August 20, a truck fire on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway, through Cam My district, Dong Nai province, caused the vehicle to burn down.
