Car burned down while running, road connecting Ho Chi Minh City

A 5-seat car traveling on Nguyen Van Bua Street, connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Long An , was burned to the frame, causing traffic congestion for 3km.

The fire broke out at around 2:00 p.m. on March 1, on Nguyen Van Bua Street, near Cau Lon, Xuan Thoi Thuong Commune, Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City.

A 5-seat car was traveling on Nguyen Van Bua Street in the direction from Long An to Ho Chi Minh City when it suddenly caught fire.

As soon as he discovered it, the driver quickly stopped the car, opened the door and got out.

People mobilized many mini fire extinguishers to approach and put out the fire but were unsuccessful.

The fire quickly engulfed the entire car, black smoke billowing.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Hoc Mon District and Xuan Thoi Thuong Commune Police quickly arrived to approach and put out the fire.

The fire was brought under control but the car was left with only its metal frame. The fire also caused a traffic jam on Nguyen Van Bua Street, stretching for about 3km.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
