Recently, there have been consecutive incidents of trucks crashing into height restriction barriers on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa streets in Ho Chi Minh City.
On October 25th, authorities in District 1 (Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with relevant units to investigate the incident where a truck crashed into a height limit barrier.

At around 10am the same day, a male driver was driving a truck with a Ho Chi Minh City license plate on Hoang Sa Street, heading from District 3 to Binh Thanh District. When reaching Hoang Hoa Tham Bridge, the truck crashed into the height restriction barrier on the bridge.
The barrier broke, and a truck carrying it got stuck under its chassis on Hoang Hoa Tham Street. The incident caused traffic congestion in the area.
It is worth mentioning that the truck's bed is higher than the limit frame (2.3m).
In August, a cargo truck also crashed into the height limit barrier and got stuck under the Bong Bridge (connecting District 1 and Binh Thanh District). Prior to that, residents reported that there had been two previous incidents of trucks crashing into the barrier and getting stuck under the Bong Bridge.
