On June 1st, the opening ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City Ornamental Fish and Pet Festival 2024 took place at the Youth Cultural Center (District 1). The event attracted hundreds of people from the area, especially families with young children, as the exhibition's opening ceremony coincided with International Children's Day.
The event organizers are the Ornamental Fish Association, the Pet Association, and the Reptile Association, all under the Ho Chi Minh City Agricultural and Vocational Association.
The program includes activities such as exhibitions of production models and the sale of ornamental fish and pets, with more than 30 booths of various sizes.

This includes the display and sale of novel and unique pets for the public, such as snakes, pythons, imported frog and salamander breeds, and even a model of ant farming.
In addition, the opening ceremony also served as an opportunity to present awards to the units and artisans who showcased fish-related products in the 2024 Ornamental Fish Competition.

The highlight of this year's program remains the dog and cat fashion show, with a judging panel consisting of renowned breeders and pet grooming experts from the region.
With 8 contestants, all of whom are "beauty queens" of dogs and cats, the deciding factor in winning the competition is the unique costumes designed by their owners.
