Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Phu Yen Provincial People's Council; Mr. Le Thanh Dong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Phu Yen Provincial People's Council; and Mr. Do Thai Phong, Vice Chairman of the Phu Yen Provincial People's Council, presided over the session.
It is known that at this session, the Phu Yen Provincial People's Council considered and decided on adjustments and additions to the medium-term public investment plan, extending the implementation and disbursement period of the public investment plan, adjusting the local budget settlement for 2022, stipulating tuition fees for the 2023-2024 school year, naming roads and public works in Tuy Hoa City, deciding on investment policies, adjusting investment policies for some projects, and policies on changing the purpose of forest land use to other purposes for the implementation of projects and works.
Simultaneously, the meeting approved the review and adjustment of three types of forests; the list of projects requiring land acquisition and land use conversion; the supplementary approval of the number of salaried employees from the state budget for public preschool and primary education in the 2023-2024 school year; and the plan for rearranging commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period.
In her opening remarks at the session, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Phu Yen Provincial People's Council, emphasized that the delegates of the Phu Yen Provincial People's Council need to uphold a sense of responsibility, based on legal regulations and the practical situation in the locality, focusing on studying, discussing, and clearly expressing their opinions on the contents presented by the Phu Yen Provincial People's Committee and the verification reports of the Provincial People's Council committees.
Through this process, the resolutions adopted at this session will be considered and decided upon in accordance with the law, closely reflect the actual situation, have high feasibility, contribute to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality, and meet the trust and expectations of the voters.
This session is expected to adopt 23 important resolutions related to socio-economic development issues in Phu Yen province and personnel matters.
