Receiving feedback from people via Fanpage on the afternoon of August 23, 2025, the Regional Radio Frequency Center I (Radio Frequency Department) urgently sent a working group to the scene the next morning, even though it was a weekend.
Through testing, the authorities determined that the cause of the interference was a QR code scanning device used to compare Vietlott results. This device was faulty, continuously transmitting signals on the 433.05 - 434.79 MHz frequency band - a frequency exempted from licensing for remote control devices such as smart keys (according to Circular 08/2021/TT-BTTTT). After the device was handled, vehicles in the area returned to normal operation, ending the inconvenience and anxiety for the people.

A representative of the Regional Radio Frequency Center I said: "Immediately after receiving the feedback, we promptly deployed forces to ensure the rights and safety of the people. Timely handling not only fixes the problem but also contributes to raising awareness of the importance of using standard radio equipment."
According to the professional agency, the main cause of interference incidents often comes from non-standard or technically defective radio equipment. The use of floating products of unknown origin and without certification of conformity can directly affect safety, information security and daily life. People and organizations are advised to only buy equipment of clear origin, meeting technical standards, certified and bearing the conformity mark.
Nowadays, along with the development of smart lock devices, the risk of interference from poor quality radio devices is also increasing. Therefore, the control and prompt handling of illegal, faulty or over-standard transmission sources is important in protecting technology infrastructure and user rights.
In case of detecting signs of interference with smart keys or other radio devices, people can report via hotline 0862.92.92.92 of the Radio Frequency Department, regional Radio Frequency Centers or local Department of Information and Communications./.
