On the afternoon of May 13th, information from the Traffic Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police indicated that they had issued an administrative penalty and revoked the driver's license of a female driver who opened her car door while driving on National Highway 1A.
Specifically, upon receiving information about a passenger car with license plate 36A-905.XX traveling on National Highway 1A (the section passing through Bim Son town) with its doors open, causing a traffic safety hazard, the Traffic Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police coordinated with relevant units to verify the incident.
It was determined that at approximately 2:30 PM on May 12th, at Km 293 of National Highway 1A, Ms. NTH (born in 1989, residing in Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa province) was driving a car with license plate 36A-905.XX, carrying a large billboard. Because the billboard was too big, Ms. H opened the rear right door of the car to transport it.
The Traffic Police Department of Thanh Hoa province issued a fine of 1.4 million VND to the female driver and 6 million VND to the vehicle owner, and also revoked the female driver's license for 2 months, for the following violations: Not closing the vehicle doors while it was in motion, and carrying goods exceeding the vehicle's outer dimensions.
