27 teams compete in the qualifying round of the National U19 Football Tournament 2025/26

VHO - Taking place from December 14, 2025 to January 6, 2026 in the host localities, the qualifying round of the 2025/26 National U19 Football Tournament has the participation of 27 teams from localities and leading youth football training centers across the country.

The tournament organizers have just conducted the draw ceremony online, with the participation of representatives of the teams participating in the tournament.

U19 PVF (red shirt) is the defending champion of the tournament.

The list of teams is distributed in the groups. Accordingly, group A includes 6 teams: Hanoi Police, Hoai Duc, Ninh Binh, PVF, Dao Ha Football Center and The Cong Viettel I.

Group B includes Hanoi, Luxury Ha Long, Tre Phu Dong, The Cong Viettel II, Ninh Binh Province Sports Center II and PVF-CAND.

Group C includes Concrete 26 Gia Lai, Hue, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, Song Lam Nghe An and LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai.

Group D has Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa Sports Training Center, Song Tra Quang Ngai, SHB Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

Group E includes the teams Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Phuoc Binh Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City Police.

According to the tournament rules, the teams are drawn into 5 groups, compete in a round-robin format (home and away) in the host locality, calculate the ranking points in each group, select 5 first-place teams, 5 second-place teams and 1 third-place team with the best results in the 5 groups to enter the final round.

Qualifying matches will take place from December 14, 2025 to January 6, 2026 in the host localities. The final round of the 2025/26 National U19 Football Championship will take place from January 14 to January 27, 2026.

Last season, U19 PVF defeated U19 SLNA in the final to win the championship.
