3 plays by Hoang Thai Thanh adapted into the movie Color of Love

These are three rare plays in the style of a series that director Ai Nhu successfully staged at the Idecaf Drama Theater around 2005 and 2006.

Then, around 2011, 2012, she re-staged it at Hoang Thai Thanh stage.

Unforgettable love color in Hoang Thai Thanh

The love drama trilogy revolves around Mr. Thoi Ung's family. There are men who carry feelings about love. There are times when it seems like they have cooled down and no longer expect anything from love.

But then love is strange, simple somewhere waiting for wounded hearts to open up...

This series of plays has recorded the performances of actors such as Thanh Hoi, Kim Xuan, Ai Nhu, Tri Quang, Tuyet Thu, Hong Anh...

Later, the stage also applied it to make long-running plays in Half a Life of Absence and the play The Other Side of Half a Life of Absence .

However, only Half a Life of Stupidity became the "hottest" play of Hoang Thai Thanh, while The Other Side of Half a Life of Stupidity did not meet expectations.

Artist Ai Nhu shared that Ms. Mong Thuy - director of Phuong Nam Film - is a regular audience of Hoang Thai Thanh stage.

She watched a lot of plays so she had a close relationship with artists Thanh Hoi and Ai Nhu. Then she proposed to adapt this trilogy of plays into a film, inviting both Ai Nhu and Thanh Hoi to participate.

Glad the 3 plays will be more widely known

Thanh Hoi and Ai Nhu are two rare theater artists who have long focused only on the stage. They do not participate in movies, game shows, reality TV shows, etc.

Ai Nhu said the most recent film she participated in was Lasta Studio's Love Beat in 2007. Thanh Hoi had only participated in movies before that.

Artist Ai Nhu confided: "I am happy that when stage works are adapted into films, they will be known to more audiences. Hoang Thai Thanh has now switched to performing seasonally, but that does not mean that Hoi and I have free time.

During the break of the season, we were very busy preparing the script and preparing for the new season.

So now when we arrange to go to the movies, we are also very confused, and have to adapt to the different working styles between the stage and the film set."

In the play, Thanh Hoi played Mr. Ung, Ai Nhu was Mrs. Nho. In the film, they are the same characters but their names are changed to Mr. Hung and Mrs. Nha.

In the film, there is also Quoc Thai who used to act in Hoang Thai Thanh and actors such as Tu Vi, Thanh Binh, Lyna Trang...

The film is in the process of filming. Actor Quoc Thai expressed his joy at meeting the sister he loves.

He posted a photo with artist Ai Nhu and wrote: "My lover, so cute. Today she plays my mother in the movie Color of Love . Everyone, watch her this year on Vinh Long Television!".
