40 teams participate in the national 7-a-side student football tournament

With the slogan “Study hard, play hard”, SV7 2024 is a tournament that gathers the top student football teams in the country. This is a prestigious 7-a-side football playground for football-loving students nationwide. In the 3rd season, the tournament was expanded to 40 participating schools, taking place in 3 regions.

Specifically, in Hanoi, the tournament will take place at Hoang Mai Stadium from August 26 to September 13; in Da Nang from September 17 to September 25 at Tuyen Son Stadium and in Ho Chi Minh City from October 1 to October 11 at Ton Duc Thang University Stadium.

The 8 best teams from each region will compete in the national finals, which will take place from October 22 to October 30 in Ho Chi Minh City. The national champion will receive a cup, flag, and VND50 million; while the regional qualifying champion will receive VND20 million.

According to Mr. Phan Anh Tu, representative of the Organizing Committee, in the third season, the tournament has expanded to 40 teams, is systematically and professionally organized and promises to have exciting matches. The Organizing Committee hopes to create a healthy playground for students, create conditions for students to exchange and learn as well as more opportunities to find football talents.

In the SV7 2023 season, Ton Duc Thang University (HCMC) is the champion.
