The FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (FedEx/JA ITC) 2025, organized by FedEx, brought together many outstanding young talents from across the country to present their business ideas and global trade strategies. Six students from the three best teams were selected to represent Vietnam at the FedEx/JA ITC Asia- Pacific regional finals held in Singapore in August this year.
Now in its 13th year, FedEx/JA ITC in Vietnam continues to inspire and equip high school students with essential skills and a keen understanding of global business. Implemented in partnership with JA Vietnam, a non-profit organization dedicated to equipping Vietnamese youth for success in the international economy , the program includes numerous hands-on workshops and collaborative challenges designed to bring international trade to life through real-world experiences.
This year, contestants faced a topical challenge: designing environmentally friendly solutions to minimize fashion waste generated from product returns, while simultaneously developing innovative strategies to penetrate a selected international market. The contestants' ideas demonstrated critical thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of sustainable business solutions relevant to today's global context.
Students will join finalists from Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam to dynamically exchange business ideas and visions. This event will serve as a platform to foster cross-cultural collaboration, teamwork, and the development of future-ready business leaders.
Ms. Ee-Hui Tan, Director of Operations for FedEx Vietnam and Cambodia, shared: “Vietnam is home to a generation of dynamic and ambitious entrepreneurs, ready to thrive internationally. Through FedEx/JA ITC, we support Vietnamese youth in developing essential business skills and a global mindset. This program helps unlock their potential, broaden their horizons, and empower them to make a tangible contribution to the nation's future in the global economy.”
