650 delegates attend the 11th Congress of the Military Youth Union

The Army Youth is always a vanguard, proactive, creative force, absolutely loyal to the Party, State and people.

On the morning of December 3, in Hanoi, the Military Youth Union held a press meeting to introduce the 11th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Military (2025-2030).

With the slogan "Military Youth: Courageous, Pioneering, Breakthrough, and Developing" and the theme "Military Youth: Courageous, Pioneering, Breakthrough, and Developing, Worthy of Uncle Ho's Soldiers, Confidently Stepping into the New Era", the Congress has the task of summarizing and evaluating the results of the Youth Union's work and the military youth movement in the 2022-2025 period; determining the directions, goals, and tasks of the Youth Union's work and the military youth movement in the 5 years 2025-2030; awarding emulation movements in the 2022-2025 period and launching the emulation movement in 2025-2030.

At the Congress, delegates will also contribute ideas to the draft documents of the 12th Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union to be submitted to the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2026-2031; and elect the Military Youth delegation to attend the 13th National Congress of the Youth Union.

Along with that, the delegates will offer incense and flowers at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs on Bac Son Street; offer flowers, report achievements, visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; visit the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the exhibition of typical documents, images, and artifacts reflecting the activities of the Army's youth; and participate in a special art program to welcome the Congress.

The congress will summarize the movement "Army Youth cultivates morality, trains talent, is proactive, creative, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era" and launch the movement "Army Youth 3 vanguards determined to win".

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy, Head of the Military Youth Committee, as of November 30, 2025, 100% of agencies and units in the entire army have directed and completed organizing congresses and conferences from the grassroots to the subordinate levels, ensuring proper procedures and principles, quality, democracy, solidarity, youthfulness, creativity, truly a broad political activity of the youth of the entire army.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy, Head of the Military Youth Union, informed about the Congress at the Press Meeting.

The 11th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the Army is scheduled to take place on December 9 and 10 in Hanoi; it will identify three breakthroughs for the 2025-2030 period.

Three specific breakthroughs include: strengthening the training of revolutionary ideals, aspirations for dedication, raising the sense of responsibility of cadres and youth union members to contribute to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern army; proactively and effectively performing training, education, and combat readiness tasks; building a regular system, raising awareness of law enforcement, discipline, and safety; promoting research, development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
