7 people stopped their car on the emergency lane of Phan Thiet – Vinh Hao highway to have dinner.

On November 16, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Team 6, Traffic Police Department) said it had issued a ticket to a driver who stopped and parked in the emergency lane on the highway to have dinner.

At about 6:45 p.m. on November 15, at Km 223+980 of Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway (section passing through Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province), the working group discovered car with license plate 85A-050.96 parked in the emergency lane.

At this time, behind the car, 7 family members were sitting on the street setting out food.

After working, the patrol team drew up a record to fine driver HTP (34 years old, residing in Bac Ai district, Ninh Thuan province) and temporarily confiscated his driver's license for further handling according to regulations.

For stopping or parking illegally on the highway, drivers will be fined 10-12 million VND and have their driver's license revoked for 2-4 months.

According to Highway 6 Traffic Patrol Team, it is very dangerous for a family to sit and eat right behind the back of a car on the emergency lane, because the driver's visibility is limited at night. If other trucks or cars have technical problems and pull over, the consequences will be very serious.
