80 contestants of the Miss Global 2023 beauty pageant have arrived in Vietnam.

Eighty beautiful contestants from various countries around the world will have about a week of exciting activities before the semi-final competition takes place in Phu Quoc.

As the person in charge of the Miss Global 2023 Activity Week in Vietnam, Ha Anh and her team spent about 6 months planning to design many exciting experiences for the candidates.

Despite being five months pregnant, Ha Anh still looked radiant in a striking grey-pink, form-fitting dress that concealed her growing baby bump. While cheerfully welcoming the international contestants, she also directed her team to arrange rooms for the 80 contestants.

Ha Anh shared that she received an invitation to be the Production Director for the Miss Global 2023 Activity Week in Vietnam a year ago, and for the past six months, she and her team have gone through many meetings with domestic and international partners to finalize the schedule for 80 contestants over more than 10 days in Vietnam.

With the aim of promoting the natural beauty and people of Vietnam to international friends through Miss Global, Ha Anh and her team have designed a suitable schedule. After activities at The Grand Ho Tram, the 80 contestants will travel to Nha Trang for charity work; then to Ho Chi Minh City for photoshoots, visiting cultural sites, and enjoying traditional cuisine .

Ha Anh takes on the role of Production Director for the Miss Global 2023 Activity Week in Vietnam.

On January 10th, Miss Global 2023 contestants will arrive in Phu Quoc for training and preparation for the semi-final round. The final competition will take place on January 18th in Cambodia.

“Bringing 80 girls to Vietnam was not simple in terms of procedures. Moreover, I had to plan for every small detail, such as taking care of the 80 contestants, arranging comfortable accommodation, and helping them stay cheerful throughout their trip in Vietnam. Even the contestants' food preferences and allergies were noted by me and the team so we could have contingency plans,” Ha Anh said.

Not only did she serve as the Production Director for the Miss Global 2023 Activity Week in Vietnam, the supermodel was also one of the official judges of the competition. She previously sat on the judging panel for two consecutive years, 2015 and 2016, alongside other renowned international judges.

“I’ve been involved with Miss Global for a long time, so I have a lot of experience and a thorough understanding of the criteria for selecting the new queen. Being able to accompany 80 girls for 10 days of activities in Vietnam will help me observe each contestant carefully to make the most accurate assessment,” she confidently stated.

Vietnam's representative at Miss Global 2023 is Doan Thu Thuy. Having previously won the top title in another beauty pageant, Doan Thu Thuy is receiving high expectations from the audience. She herself shared that she only has 21 days to prepare for Miss Global 2023 but is determined to see it through, hoping to introduce to international friends the image of a beautiful Vietnam, rich in cultural identity, as well as the beauty, charisma, and strength of Vietnamese women.

The Miss Global 2023 semi-finals will be held on January 13th in Phu Quoc. In addition to the Top 5 Miss Global 2022 contestants, the semi-final will also feature performances by singers Isaac, Myra Tran, and Giana.
