ABIC pays 352 million VND in insurance money to customers

ABIC pays benefits to customers.

According to insurance records, customer Pham Trung Thanh borrowed capital twice and participated in ABIC's Credit Security program with a total amount of 350 million VND. On February 12, 2024, the customer unfortunately died in a traffic accident. In accordance with the signed insurance contract, ABIC paid all benefits to the customer in accordance with the law. This is the largest amount of money ABIC has paid since the beginning of the year.

Credit guarantee insurance is a product of ABIC that insures borrowers of Agribank . When an incident occurs that affects the health and life of the borrower and the ability to repay the bank, ABIC, on behalf of the borrower, will pay the bank an amount corresponding to the insured debt; the remaining amount (if any) will be transferred to the insured or legal beneficiary. Since the beginning of the year, 29 customers have been paid a total of 1.6 billion VND.
