Arsenal are expected to sign Declan Rice to a five-year contract.

Express reports that Arsenal's owners are ready to spend a large sum to sign West Ham captain Declan Rice in a record-breaking deal.

The England midfielder is expected to leave at the end of the season, but West Ham have no intention of selling Declan Rice for less than £100 million.

Declan Rice is attracting interest from a number of big clubs, including Manchester City and Manchester United. However, Arsenal are reportedly leading the race, with manager Mikel Arteta seeing the England star as a priority target.

According to this source, both Luka Modric and Toni Kroos will sign new contracts for another year, until Summer 2024. In addition, Real Madrid is also expected to confirm a contract extension with Vinicius Junior.

Luka Mordic, 37, and Toni Kroos, 33, are both entering the twilight of their careers, with their contracts at Bernabeu set to expire at the end of the season.

According to Mundo , after anxiously waiting, coach Erik ten Hag received good news regarding transfers: Manchester United will provide him with a large budget to spend this summer.

The source claims that coach Erik ten Hag is ambitious to acquire the Barcelona duo: Ronald Araujo and De Jong.

Manchester United pursued De Jong throughout almost the entire summer transfer window last year but were unsuccessful. The former Ajax midfielder himself only wanted to stay at Nou Camp, rejecting Barcelona.

However, De Jong himself recently admitted that he doesn't know what this summer will bring, or whether he will find himself in a similar situation to last year's transfer.

Barca is still facing financial difficulties, amidst reports that they are trying to bring Messi back. For that to happen, Barca will certainly have to "sacrifice" some players from their current squad.

Manchester United hopes that amidst Barcelona's financial struggles, they can seize the opportunity to sign desired players, with De Jong being a particular concern for manager Erik ten Hag.
