With nearly 500 applicants, the 4th season of the Vietnam Music Talent Competition attracted a large number of high-quality contestants. After two preliminary and semi-final rounds held in three regions across the country, the organizers and judging panel selected 15 of the most promising and talented vocalists to participate in the final round.

The competition has found champions in three different musical genres. The final performance and awards ceremony announced the three winners in three different genres, including: Folk and lyrical music: Pham Hoang Quynh Giang - contestant number 238; bolero music: Trong Thao - contestant number 305; and pop music: Nguyen Thi Thao - contestant number 23.
With her powerful voice and meticulous attention to detail in terms of image, costumes, and supporting music, contestant Pham Hoang Quynh Giang captivated the judges and audience with her performance of "Returning to Lam Giang," composed by Vu Quoc Nam and written by Xuan Viet, in the folk and lyrical music genre.

Pham Hoang Quynh Giang (Contestant No. 238) received the First Prize in the folk and lyrical music category.
The song "Giận hờn 2" (Resentment 2), composed by Ngọc Sơn, helped Hoàng Trọng Thao win the championship in the bolero music category.

Trong Thao won first place in the Bolero music category.
With her attractive appearance and stage presence, Nguyen Thi Thao also won the championship in the youth music category with the song "Half a Decade," composed by Hoang Dung.
The three first runner-up prizes in the three music genres went to the following contestants: Hana Quỳnh Hoa (Contestant No. 231) - folk and lyrical music; Nguyễn Phi Hoàng (Contestant No. 108) - bolero music; and Lê Lý (Contestant No. 256) - pop music.

Nguyen Thi Thao - contestant number 234 won the first prize in the youth music competition.
The second runner-up prize, worth 50,000,000 VND each, was awarded to the following contestants: Dinh Hai Nam (Contestant No. 181) - Folk and lyrical music category, Hoang Anh Nhan (Contestant No. 291) - Bolero music category, and Nguyen Hung Thinh (Contestant No. 242) - Pop music category.
The promising contestants received the award: Mai Chung (Contestant No. 239) - folk and lyrical music; Duong Van Luong (Contestant No. 207) - Bolero music; Le Huyen My (Contestant No. 208) - pop music.
The Most Popular Contestant award, worth 30,000,000 VND each, goes to: Le Ngoc Linh (Contestant No. 135) - Folk and lyrical music genre, Thu Hoa (Contestant No. 225) - Bolero music genre, and Nguyen Xuan Quyet (Contestant No. 152) - Pop music genre.

Three contestants won first runner-up prizes at the final night of the Vietnam Music Talent Competition 2024.
The Vietnam Music Talent Competition focuses on discovering more talented and gifted contestants, especially those with a love and passion for singing and music. Expected to return in August this year, the competition will begin nationwide recruitment through the program's fanpage.
Eligibility requirements include being a Vietnamese citizen residing and working in Vietnam, aged 18-40 for pop music, 18-45 for folk music, and 18-55 for lyrical music. The competition will be held in person at preliminary rounds in three regions across the country.
