Bac Ninh increases buses and trips for free weekend tours

Based on the proposal of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has agreed to the policy of increasing the number of trips and means of transport to support people and tourists visiting historical and cultural sites in the province (free buses). The implementation period will be on weekends and last until the end of June 2025.

Two free tours support local people and tourists to visit historical-cultural relics in Bac Ninh province including:

Tour 1: Bac Ninh Museum - But Thap Pagoda - Dau Pagoda - Dong Ho Painting Village - Do Temple - Nam Hong Royal Museum - Bac Ninh Museum.

Tour 2: Bac Ninh Museum - Phat Tich Pagoda - Kinh Duong Vuong Mausoleum - Phu Lang Pottery Village - Nguyen Cao Temple - Dien Quang Pagoda - Bac Ninh Museum.

Daily departure time is from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The buses will pick up passengers at the departure location at Bac Ninh Museum (No. 2 Ly Thai To Street, Suoi Hoa Ward, Bac Ninh City). The means of transport is a high-quality 45-seat bus.

Compared to the first week of implementation (March 8, 9) when there were only 4 cars (2 cars per tour), the number of tourists participating in the tour increased dramatically in the second week. Specifically, on Saturday, March 15, the number of cars increased from 4 cars to 6 cars (3 cars per tour); on Sunday, March 16, the number of cars increased to 12 cars (6 cars per tour), the number of cars was 3 times the original size.

According to the initial assessment of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province, the increasing number of visitors to the free tour “Bac Ninh Cultural Quintessence - Heritage Colors” has proven the attraction of the program. Thereby, contributing to promoting and spreading the typical tourist destinations and historical-cultural relics of the locality, while at the same time arousing national pride and unique cultural traditions of Bac Ninh province.

From the attraction of free sample tours, Bac Ninh province also wishes to suggest, orient and encourage travel businesses to exploit cultural heritage and traditional arts to build tourism products. At the same time, attract domestic and foreign tourists, investors in the tourism sector, contributing to increasing the source of domestic and international tourists to Bac Ninh.
