The Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviewed the content submitted to the 28th session of the 8th Provincial People's Council.

This afternoon, November 15, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council worked with the People's Committee of Dong Ha City and the People's Committee of Quang Tri Town to review the content submitted to the 28th session of the 8th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.

At the working session, the People's Committee of Dong Ha City and the People's Committee of Quang Tri Town, two units assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to preside over drafting the contents for the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council a report on the process of building a resolution on urban architecture management regulations, including: documents, order, procedures for issuing the resolution; legal basis, conformity with related planning, necessity of issuance; content of urban architecture management regulations.

According to the People's Committee of Dong Ha City, the implementation of the new construction of urban architecture management regulations in Dong Ha City to comply with current regulations is extremely necessary, contributing to the management of urban landscapes and architecture of construction works according to approved urban planning; controlling new construction, renovation, and urban embellishment according to the orientation of architectural development, protecting the landscape, identity, and architectural characteristics of Dong Ha City.

For the People's Committee of Quang Tri town, the urban architecture management regulations of Quang Tri town aim to manage architecture and urban landscapes throughout the entire boundary of the town's 4 inner-city wards with an area of 815.4 hectares. The content of the regulations has been commented on by agencies, units, and People's Committees of wards; organized to collect opinions from the community; approved by the People's Committee of the town, the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee and submitted to the Department of Construction for appraisal.

Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Anh requested the People's Committees of the two localities to absorb the opinions of the delegates at the working session.

For the People's Committee of Dong Ha City, it is necessary to study the form of issuing resolutions of the Provincial People's Council in the form of approval or comment. Specific issues that need attention are that the urban management regulations must be consistent with the nature of the economic, political and cultural center of the province and the development orientations according to the urban development program of the city to ensure effective urban management.

For the People's Committee of Quang Tri town, it is recommended that the locality coordinate with the Department of Construction to work with the Ministry of Construction to soon give opinions on the general planning of Quang Tri town, thereby creating a basis for submitting to the Provincial People's Council for approval of the town's urban architecture management regulations. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to building urban management regulations that are suitable to the nature of a peaceful urban area.
