Regarding the invitation for the band Bức Tường to perform at the Vietnam Festival in Japan, Mr. Hoàng stated that, in addition to their large fanbase in Vietnam, the fanbase in Japan is one of the largest outside of Vietnam.

That's why the organizers wanted to invite Bức Tường to participate in this year's festival after missing out in 2015.
Mr. Hoang said that the organizers had planned to invite Buc Tuong to participate in the Vietnam Festival 2015 in Japan, but shortly after, Tran Lap fell ill and passed away, so the plan did not materialize.
Seeing the band's recent resurgence in activity, the organizers decided to invite them to perform this year as a gift to the large Bức Tường fan base in Japan.

Artist Tran Tuan Hung - the current leader of Buc Tuong - shared with Tuoi Tre Online : throughout the 29 years since its founding, Buc Tuong has participated in many cultural exchange festivals in France, Singapore, Indonesia, and South Korea, but this is the first time the veteran rock band has performed in the Land of the Rising Sun.
Bức Tường has made serious and thorough preparations to bring the most special emotions to the Vietnamese community in Japan and the Japanese people attending the festival.
"The pursuit of perfection will be evident in each performance and through the modernized ao dai costumes that the band will wear on stage at this festival. There will be familiar songs from the Bức Tường era under Trần Lập, as well as new compositions," Trần Tuấn Hùng revealed.

This year's Vietnam Festival in Japan (Vietnam Festival 2024) is expected to attract around 180,000 attendees. 130 booths from companies, organizations, and individuals will showcase and sell products with distinctive Vietnamese characteristics, contributing to promoting Vietnamese culture, tourism, and cuisine to the Japanese people.
The Vietnam Festival in Tokyo is held annually by various organizations, including the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang stated that this is Vietnam's largest cultural tourism festival held abroad.
