Speaking at the program, Ms. Ly Viet Trung - Editor-in-Chief of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association shared: The Uncle Ho Bookshelf "Fulfilling Dreams" also wants to tell students stories about Uncle Ho's life and career, and Uncle Ho's love for children.
The donation of the bookcase also aims to develop the reading movement among students in remote schools. At the same time, it provides scholarships and gifts to disadvantaged students in remote areas to share the difficulties and help them have more motivation to strive in life and study.
“The books, gifts, and scholarships today are the fruits of hard work from many people and businesses sent to the children. I hope the children will study hard to not disappoint their parents and teachers and to become useful people in the future,” Ms. Ly Viet Trung hopes.
