Contestants are Vietnamese citizens whose press works are published in printed newspapers and Quang Nam electronic newspapers, meeting the content and format of the contest. Contest entries can be by one author or a group of authors.
Contest topics: Works promoting and introducing typical models, good, creative and effective practices of all levels, sectors and localities in Quang Nam province in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
The work reflects and introduces real people and real deeds that are typical in studying and following Uncle Ho; especially examples of cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, and association members in studying, training, and performing public duties; creativity in administrative reform, digital transformation, proposing initiatives to develop Quang Nam; being close to the people, dedicated to serving the people, and actively contributing to the development of agencies and units.
The work reflects and introduces portraits of characters who know how to overcome difficulties and adversities to excel in studying, creative research, production, business, artistic activities, sports , etc. to affirm their own values and contribute to the community, spreading, inspiring, and providing positive energy in society.
The work reflects the portraits of entrepreneurs, business owners, and start-up entities - OCOP, who strive to overcome difficulties and create new, unique, and effective business models.
Contest entries must be in one of the following journalism genres: Reflective article (maximum 1,000 words); journalistic reportage (reportage, memoir, notes, memoir; maximum 1,500 words); e.Magazine/Longform (maximum 1,800 words); multimedia synthesis reflection article (minimum 3 types and genres of journalism: written newspaper, photo, infographic, video clip, audio; maximum 1,200 words); television reportage from 1 - 4 minutes.
The entries are journalistic works that have not been published or broadcast on mass media approved by the Ministry of Information and Communications. The entries are works about real people and events, with full names and specific addresses in Quang Nam province or Quang Nam people living, studying and working in other provinces and cities across the country.
Competition duration: From the date of announcement of the rules to December 31, 2024.
