Storm No. 2 moves slowly, causing strong winds and big waves at sea

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Storm No. 2 is currently causing strong winds and large waves in the East Sea. It is forecast that on the morning of July 7, the center of the storm will be located in the waters of Fujian province (China), with a level 11 intensity and gusts of level 13. By July 9, the storm is likely to gradually weaken into a low pressure area.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 7:00 a.m. this morning (July 6), the eye of the storm was at about 21.4 degrees North latitude, 118.0 degrees East longitude. The strongest wind near the eye of the storm was level 11 (103-117 km/h), gusting to level 13. The storm moved slowly in a North-Northeast direction, at a speed of about 5 km/h.

Due to the impact of storm No. 2, the northeastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea has stormy rain, strong winds of level 7-9, the area near the storm's center has level 10-11, gusting to level 13. Waves are 4-6m high, the sea is very rough.
