Arrest of subject transporting 24,000 synthetic drug pills across the border

On April 11, the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard said that the unit's drug and crime prevention force had just coordinated with functional agencies to successfully fight a case, arresting a subject who was transporting 24,000 synthetic drug pills across the border.

According to information from the authorities, at 8:20 p.m. on April 8, in Tien Tieu village, Nam Can commune, Ky Son district, the Drug and Crime Prevention Department, Nghe An Provincial Border Guard presided over and coordinated with Nam Can International Border Gate Customs Branch to discover and arrest Ho Ba Hu (Ky Son district, Nghe An) in the act of transporting 24,000 synthetic drug pills. In addition to the drugs, the exhibits seized at the scene also included a motorbike and some related evidence.

According to the initial statement, the subject was hired by an unidentified man to transport the above drugs from the border to Noong De village, Nam Can commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province, for a fee of 10 million VND. While on the way, the subject was discovered and arrested by the authorities.

Currently, the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard is expanding the investigation of the case and completing the case file for handling according to the provisions of law.

Previously, on April 4, the anti-drug force and the Border Guard of Nghe An province also successfully fought a case, arrested two Laotian subjects, and seized 36,000 synthetic drug pills.
