Arrest of suspect in case of girl's body tied in sack in Hai Phong

This evening (June 11th), the head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Hai Phong City Police confirmed to VietNamNet reporters that the police have arrested the suspect who murdered a girl, put her body in a blue sack, and dumped it in front of a house in Da Phuc (Duong Kinh district).

Accordingly, the arrested suspect is Hoang Huu Thinh (born in 1980, with permanent residence in Le Chan district, Hai Phong). This individual is the boyfriend of the victim HN (born in 1994, residing in Bac Son ward, Kien An district, Hai Phong city).

Ms. HN divorced her husband a year ago and has two children. Recently, she has been in a romantic relationship with Thinh.

As previously reported, at around 4 PM on June 10th, residents in Da Phuc ward, Duong Kinh district, Hai Phong city, discovered the body of a woman inside a tightly sealed blue sack on the sidewalk of Quang Luan street.

Eyewitnesses said they saw the sack in front of a closed house early that morning, but didn't think it contained a body. There were bloodstains near the sack.

After receiving the information, the authorities were present at the scene to block off the scene for investigation.

This evening, the police conducted a crime scene reenactment.
