House fire causes 4 casualties in Gia Lai

In the early morning of October 19, in An Khe ward (Gia Lai province), a fire broke out at the house and business premises of Mr. Nguyen Ba C. (33 years old, Do Trac street), causing 1 death and 3 injuries.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department ( Gia Lai Provincial Police) mobilized forces and vehicles to the scene to extinguish the fire and rescue the victims.

Mr. Nguyen Hung Vi, Secretary of the Party Committee of An Khe Ward confirmed to a reporter of the Vietnam News Agency: The ward police have made a preliminary report on the incident. Initial information about the incident was that jealousy led to the arson, causing a large fire.

Currently, the authorities are conducting a crime scene investigation to clarify the incident.
