Arrested former Director and Deputy Director of Sam Son City Land Registration Office

The defendants who have been prosecuted and temporarily detained include: Nguyen The Hung (born in 1979), former Director of the Sam Son City Land Registration Office Branch; Le Huy Hoang (born in 1986), Deputy Director of the Sam Son City Land Registration Office Branch; and Cao Xuan Hiep (born in 1984), an employee of the Sam Son City Land Registration Office Branch.

Specifically, Nguyen The Hung and Cao Xuan Hiep were charged and are under investigation for bribery; Le Huy Hoang was charged and is under investigation for abuse of power and authority while performing his official duties.

Thus, to date, in connection with the above case, the police have prosecuted 26 defendants for the crimes of bribery, receiving bribes, and abuse of power while performing official duties.

The investigation into the case is still ongoing.
