Caught two subjects using homemade electric guns to steal dogs

On October 25, An Bien Commune Police (An Giang Province) announced that they had detained Nguyen Van Vuong (born in 1992) and Le Tuan Nho (born in 1980), both residing in Rach Gia Ward, for theft.

Earlier, in the early morning of October 24, while patrolling to ensure security and order in the area, An Bien Commune Police discovered and caught Vuong and Nho using homemade electric guns to steal dogs from people in Hamlet 3, An Bien Commune.

Evidence seized from the subjects included: 4 dogs (each weighing from 10kg to 21kg), 1 motorbike with license plate 68S3-5437, along with 1 homemade electric gun and supporting tools.

According to initial testimony, Nho was the person driving the motorbike with Vuong sitting behind and directly used a homemade electric gun to shoot the dog. After shooting the dog, Vuong got off the motorbike, used tape to wrap the dog's beak, put it in a bag, and carried it onto the motorbike. Afterwards, the two continued to move to other areas to commit similar thefts.

Currently, the An Bien commune police are holding these two individuals in custody on charges of theft for further investigation and processing.
