The "underlings" in this ring are Nguyen Trung Thong (27 years old, residing in Ha Tinh ), Tran Le Viet Ninh (22 years old), Nguyen Truong Nhat (30 years old), Vo Dinh Quoc Viet (22 years old, all residing in Hue city).

Initially, the subjects confessed that they transported drugs from Lao Bao border gate to Hue to distribute to sensitive business and service establishments to make profit. Each transaction involved from 10,000 to 30,000 synthetic drug pills.

Tuan and Lan created fake accounts on the Telegram app to run the ring. They hired ethnic minority teenagers in Huong Hoa district (Quang Tri province) to transport drugs from the border to Quang Tri and Hue.

Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police are expanding and consolidating records to handle the subjects according to the provisions of law.
