Quang Tri General Hospital has a new director

On December 1st, the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Office announced that Mr. Vo Van Hung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had signed decisions appointing the director and deputy director of the Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital.

Specifically, Mr. Phan Xuan Nam, Deputy Director of Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital, has been appointed as the hospital director, replacing Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan, who retired. The appointment is for a term of 5 years, effective from December 1st.

Mr. Nam, 53 years old, is from Quang Tri town (Quang Tri province) and is a specialist in ear, nose, and throat (ENT). He previously worked as an ENT doctor, Head of the Personnel Department, and Deputy Director of Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province also decided to appoint Dr. Le Van Lam (Head of the Intensive Care and Toxicology Department) to the position of Deputy Director of Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital.

Mr. Lam is 51 years old and hails from Vinh Giang commune, Vinh Linh district (Quang Tri province). During his many years working at Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital, Mr. Lam has made numerous contributions, most notably his collaboration with colleagues in applying the "beer infusion to treat alcohol poisoning" method, saving the lives of many patients.

Regarding personnel matters, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province signed a decision to transfer Mr. Nguyen Chon Hoa (Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Trieu Phong District Party Committee) to work and appoint him to the position of Deputy Chief Inspector of the province; and to appoint Mr. Thai Huu Lieu (Head of the International Cooperation Department - Department of Foreign Affairs) to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
