University Medical Center of Ho Chi Minh City appoints two new deputy directors.

Attending the ceremony to announce the decision were Professor, Doctor Tran Diep Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council; Associate Professor, Doctor Ngo Quoc Dat - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice Rector in charge; Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen Hoang Bac - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Rector, and Director of the hospital; Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen Van Chinh, Member of the Party Committee Executive Board and Vice Rector; along with faculty members and doctors who are leaders of the university and hospital units.

The new Deputy Director of the University Medical Center of Ho Chi Minh City, Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen Minh Anh, receives his appointment decision.

Speaking at the ceremony to assign duties to the two new deputy directors, Professor, Doctor Tran Diep Tuan stated: "As a key national university, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy has always demonstrated its leading position in training, scientific research, and healthcare. The Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital is the university's teaching hospital; therefore, it must always demonstrate leadership in expertise and be a leader in the field of healthcare . We need to further promote scientific research, increase international publications, and closely integrate treatment, training, and scientific research to train leading experts in the field of healthcare."

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Doctor Ngo Quoc Dat said: "With the vision of previous generations of teachers who pioneered the construction and development of the university's teaching hospital, the University Medical Center of Ho Chi Minh City has achieved many proud results in professional work and management. The university hopes that the two new deputy directors will continue the achievements of previous generations, continue to build a hospital-university model that approaches the world model, pioneer in hospital management, implement innovation, creativity and digital transformation in all hospital activities."

In his acceptance speech, Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen Hoang Dinh expressed his gratitude to the esteemed professors in the University Council, the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Party Committee of the hospital, and the Board of Directors for their attention, trust, and confidence.

Mr. Hoang Dinh pledged to always strive to be proactive and creative in the assigned tasks; to closely connect with other units to build a positive working environment and develop the hospital in accordance with the direction set by the university.

On this occasion, Professor, Doctor, and Physician Tran Diep Tuan expressed his gratitude to Professor, Doctor, and Physician Truong Quang Binh, former Deputy Director in charge of professional affairs, for his contributions to the development of the hospital over the past years.
