Provincial Military Command met with the press at the beginning of the year of Giap Thin

Today, February 22, the Provincial Military Command (CHQS) organized a meeting with news agencies and press in the early spring of Giap Thin year 2024.

In 2023, the Provincial Military Command coordinated with news agencies and newspapers in the area to publish more than 380 news articles reflecting the activities and images of the provincial armed forces in the task of disseminating the Party and State's guidelines and policies, local military and national defense tasks, and the provincial armed forces to all officers, soldiers, and the people.

In coordination with Quang Tri Newspaper and the provincial Radio and Television Station, we maintain a special section on "National Defense for All" with many high-quality news articles. In addition, we cooperate with central and regional press agencies and specialized newspapers based in Quang Tri to effectively and prominently publicize the activities of the provincial armed forces.

Military Commands of districts, towns and cities also proactively coordinate with local Culture, Information , Sports and Physical Training Centers to strengthen information and propaganda about local military and defense tasks.

At the meeting, representatives of news agencies and press discussed a number of contents and solutions to improve the effectiveness of propaganda coordination between news agencies and the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, the Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan, and the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Nguyen Ba Duan, acknowledged and thanked the media and press agencies for their cooperation and support in information and propaganda work over the past period, which has significantly contributed to the provincial armed forces' excellent fulfillment of all assigned tasks.

It is hoped that in the coming time, news agencies and press organizations will continue to cooperate more closely in disseminating information, especially regarding important events of the provincial armed forces in 2024 such as: the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day; activities leading up to the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory; and the Provincial Armed Forces' Emulation Congress for the period 2019-2024.
