Thus, in addition to the familiar English standards in Vietnam such as IELTS and TOEFL, the PEIC international English certificate test scores will be officially used for admission and training purposes at the university level as well as can be applied as English proficiency standards for students at high school and graduate levels, opening up new opportunities and options for English learners in Vietnam.

What is PEIC certification?

The PEIC certificate is an international English proficiency standard that includes 4 skills (Listening - Speaking - Reading - Writing) for students and working people. The PEIC test is divided into 6 levels corresponding to the 6 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), helping to closely assess the ability and progress of learners through each stage of language proficiency improvement.

The PEIC certificate is issued by Pearson Education Group, one of the oldest and most prestigious educational organizations in the world and also the largest examination board in the UK. The PEIC exam has been widely held in many countries around the world and this set of certificates is recognized by businesses, universities as well as government agencies in Europe, America, Asia, Africa, including the UK's Office for the Regulation of Qualifications and Examinations (OFQUAL), the Italian Ministry of Education, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs , etc.

A prominent advantage of the PEIC certificate set compared to other popular international English certificates in Vietnam is the smoothness of the assessment scale and the flexibility for test takers. The PEIC certificate set is divided into 6 levels, which are 6 separate tests, each level corresponding to a competency level from A1 to C2 on the CEFR Competency Framework. Therefore, candidates can choose to take the test at an exact competency level, suitable for each individual's wishes and language ability.

In addition, the PEIC test is based on real-life language situations, close to English learners, and uses familiar question types that are easy for test takers to access. The PEIC test also has a consistent structure across the 6 levels, which helps learners get used to the types of exercises and build confidence in using the language naturally, providing a positive and encouraging experience for test takers on the path to mastering the language.

How to take the PEIC exam?

In Vietnam, the PEIC certificate is organized by EMG Education - a strategic partner of PearsonEducation Group. EMG Education and Pearson have been approved by the Ministry of Education and Training to jointly organize PEIC certificate exams in Vietnam according to Decision No. 868/QD-BGDDT dated March 22, 2023.
