(Bqp.vn) - On April 5th, a delegation from the Military Recruitment Board of the Ministry of National Defense , led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Oanh, Director of the School Department (General Staff), and Deputy Head of the Military Recruitment Board of the Ministry of National Defense, inspected military recruitment work in Bac Ninh province.

Over the past period, thanks to the leadership and guidance of Party committees and authorities at all levels, and the coordination of functional agencies, the Recruitment and Selection Boards at all levels in Bac Ninh province have thoroughly implemented the circulars, guidelines, and leadership documents on recruitment and selection work; and have done a good job advising local Party committees and authorities on leading and directing the effective implementation of recruitment and selection work. Career guidance and recruitment propaganda work has been effectively carried out by the Bac Ninh Provincial Recruitment and Selection Board, attracting many young people and students to register for admission to military schools. Annually, the locality has organized training and refresher courses for officers directly involved in recruitment at all levels; developed plans and guidelines for preparing application documents, registration procedures, recording information, and conducting preliminary and final selection processes according to instructions; and organized preliminary and final reviews, drawing lessons learned and compiling reports according to the prescribed hierarchical levels. The Admissions Committees at all levels organized the reception of admission results, completed procedures, and guided candidates to enroll in military academies and schools within the prescribed timeframe. 100% of districts, towns, and cities organized meetings to encourage candidates and their families before the enrollment day. Over the past three years, more than 311 candidates from the province have been admitted to military schools.

Speaking at the inspection, on behalf of the Military Recruitment Board of the Ministry of National Defense, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Oanh commended the achievements in military recruitment work in Bac Ninh province in the past period. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Oanh requested that the local Party committees, authorities, and the Military Recruitment Boards at all levels in Bac Ninh province continue to coordinate, proactively overcome difficulties, thoroughly understand and strictly implement the directives and resolutions of the Party and State on education and training, and the circulars and guidelines of the Ministry of National Defense on military recruitment; innovate the content and form of propaganda to attract candidates to register for admission to military academies and schools. The Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command needs to closely coordinate with the Party committees, authorities, agencies, departments, and high schools and junior high schools to do a good job of propaganda and career guidance, helping candidates understand the regulations related to admission to military academies and schools; organize health examinations for candidates registering for preliminary selection, ensuring strictness and compliance with regulations.

Previously, the Military Recruitment Board of the Ministry of National Defense organized a career counseling and guidance session for military recruitment in 2024 at Yen Phong No. 1 High School, Yen Phong district. Attending the session were representatives from the Department of Military Schools; delegates from several functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense and military schools; representatives from several local agencies and organizations; and teachers and students from high schools and continuing education centers in Yen Phong district.
