
Major General Truong Manh Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of Military Region 1 and comrade Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented a portrait statue of President Ho Chi Minh to representatives of Luong Van Tri Ward.
Attending the conference on behalf of Lang Son province were comrade Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Nguyen Cong Khue, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Colonel Mai Xuan Phong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; representatives of departments, branches and sectors of the province and representatives of leaders of 65 communes and wards in Lang Son province.
Implementing the Party's policy on streamlining, reorganizing the apparatus and operating the two-level local government, the entire Lang Son province has reorganized 194 commune-level administrative units into 65 grassroots-level administrative units. Up to now, the activities of the localities have become orderly.
