Comrade Dinh Huu Hoc, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the implementation of the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway project.

On the afternoon of December 2, 2025, the working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee led by Mr. Dinh Huu Hoc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the field at 6 construction intersections from Km27+200 to Km40 of the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway project. The working delegation included leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

Construction units are stepping up to speed up the project's construction progress.

The Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway is about 43.43 km long, designed with a scale of 6 lanes for motor vehicles, starting at Km1+800 connecting to the road to Huu Nghi border gate, ending at Km44+749.67 (in Nhan Ly commune, Lang Son province). At the time of inspection, contractors were constructing the project on the length of the route with 4 EC packages; the total value of implementation was 3,813/6,580 billion VND, reaching 57.95% of the contract value, 11.93% behind the construction plan.

Speaking at the inspection session, Mr. Dinh Huu Hoc, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the investor to strengthen the direction of contractors to speed up the construction progress, especially overtime, increasing shifts, and increasing construction sites to ensure progress according to the Prime Minister 's direction that the road must be opened to traffic by December 19, 2025 at the latest, and by the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026, vehicles can circulate on the route (from the section in Nhan Ly commune to some central wards of the province).

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: during the construction process, investors and construction units must ensure environmental hygiene and safety, labor safety, especially focus on propaganda, not allowing people to enter the construction area on the route to prevent accidents during the project construction process.
