Comrade Doan Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting to review and evaluate the results of implementing tasks according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo and Plan No. 02-KH/BCĐTW, dated June 19, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee.

On December 3, 2025, Comrade Doan Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to review and evaluate the results of implementing tasks according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation and Plan No. 02-KH/BCĐTW, dated June 19, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation on promoting interconnected, synchronous, fast and effective digital transformation to meet the requirements of restructuring the apparatus of the political system. Attending the meeting were leaders of relevant departments and branches.

According to the report, since the beginning of the year, the province has implemented targets and tasks on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation, closely following the tasks of the Central Steering Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee. Of the 103 tasks assigned according to the Conclusion Notices of the Central Steering Committee, the province has so far completed 56 tasks and is implementing 47 tasks.

Regarding the implementation of Plan No. 02, dated June 19, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee on Science, Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation, the province has completed 21/23 tasks, 2 tasks are being implemented. Lang Son is one of the provinces that completed the assigned tasks for the commune level the earliest.

The implementation of tasks under Resolution No. 57 of the province has also been carried out on schedule. Up to now, the whole province has achieved and exceeded 39 tasks, 5 tasks are being carried out. The infrastructure for digital transformation is increasingly complete; promoting digitalization in the implementation of public services contributes to improving the efficiency of serving people and businesses; departments and branches have also actively carried out assigned tasks to ensure the set progress.

At the meeting, delegates from agencies and units spoke and contributed opinions on the implementation of administrative procedures; document digitization; budget allocation to implement contents on innovative startups; information security and safety; implementation of projects under Resolution No. 57, etc. Thereby, ensuring 100% completion of assigned tasks.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Doan Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the Department of Science and Technology to preside over and coordinate with assigned departments, branches and sectors to implement programs, goals and tasks according to the plans of the Central and the province, urgently review and update the level of completion of targets and tasks in 2025, and report preliminary results to the Provincial People's Committee before December 10, 2025.

Based on the review results, focus on urging and determining to completely complete tasks with deadlines until December 31, 2025 to ensure 100% of the targets and tasks assigned by the Central Government in 2025; for the 05 targets that have not been completed according to the plan of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, he requested the Department of Science and Technology to urgently coordinate with relevant agencies to have specific solutions to ensure the completion of all targets and tasks on time; continue to coordinate with the Department of Finance to review the contents of funding, especially items registered under projects using public investment capital, ensuring the completion of procedures and approval of investment policies according to regulations.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant agencies to step up information and propaganda on the implementation of Resolution No. 57, as well as documents of the Central Government and the province on science, technology, innovation, digital transformation in the area, in conjunction with the practical results achieved; regularly inspect and urge the implementation of tasks related to science, technology, innovation, digital transformation at departments, branches and communes and wards in the province,...
