On the morning of March 28th, the Steering Committee 35 of Thanh Hoa Province organized a training conference on professional skills for members and staff of the Steering Committee 35 at all levels in the province in 2024. The conference was attended by 460 delegates.

Comrade Dao Xuan Yen, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee 35, delivered the opening remarks at the conference.

To ensure the conference achieves the best results, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested that delegates demonstrate a sense of responsibility, seriousness in their studies, and active exchange and discussion to grasp issues and apply them to the activities of their localities, agencies, and units. In particular, to improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda work and the fight against and refutation of erroneous and hostile viewpoints, immediately after the conference, localities should advise their Party committees, agencies, and units to organize professional training conferences and continue to consolidate and build core forces to actively fight against and refute the conspiracies and distorted arguments of hostile forces, protecting the ideological foundation of the Party.

Major General, Associate Professor, Doctor of Science, People's Teacher Nguyen Ba Duong, Member of the Central Theoretical Council, former Director of the Institute of Military Social Sciences and Humanities , Ministry of National Defense, delivered a presentation at the conference.

At the training conference, members and staff of the Steering Committee 35 at all levels received lectures from Major General, Associate Professor, Doctor, People's Teacher Nguyen Ba Duong, Member of the Central Theoretical Council, former Director of the Institute of Military Social Sciences and Humanities (Ministry of National Defense) and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Toan, Deputy Head of the Criminal Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, on the following topics: Recognizing, detecting, preventing, and refuting fake news, harmful information, and erroneous and hostile viewpoints on the internet; Prohibited acts on the internet; Protecting personal information and data on the internet in conjunction with the implementation of Regulation No. 85-QĐ/TW, dated October 7, 2022, of the Central Party Secretariat on the establishment and use of personal electronic information pages on the Internet and social networks by cadres and Party members; and the responsibilities of cadres and Party members on the internet. Skills in selecting topics and writing argumentative essays to defend the Party's ideological foundation; identifying and preventing crimes and legal violations on the Internet and social media today.

The conference aims to continue the effective implementation of Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018, of the Politburo (12th term) on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and combating and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation, in conjunction with the implementation of the Party's 13th National Congress Resolution and the 19th Provincial Party Congress Resolution; it also helps trainees update their knowledge and information, improve their skills and expertise, and proactively and flexibly apply them to practice; gradually enhancing the effectiveness of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and combating and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation, contributing to the successful fulfillment of the political tasks of the locality and unit.
